Our Service Delivery Strategy

GEMS of Hope champions an Integrated Strategy for delivering microcredit services.

• GEMS recognizes that the structural causes of poverty cannot be fully addressed simply by increasing incomes and assets.
• In collaboration with our local partners, we support programs which serve the financial needs of women and our target populations and also address their non-financial needs, especially health education and services.

Our Service Delivery Model

We foster sustainability by:

• Aligning with the national development priorities of the countries where we operate
• Building strong and effective partnerships with local NGOs, community leaders and volunteers, healthcare providers and municipal authorities
• Ensuring there is local participation in each program’s design, implementation and evaluation, including the active involvement and participation of women and target populations
• Having accountability for each program’s design, management and results
